This service consists in providing a single, transparent optical channel, a so-called Lambda. This way, you can more efficiently send large amounts of data (in point-to-point topology) between your primary location and the servers located in the Data Center. The service is based on DWDM infrastructure. It supports many standards, enabling you to obtain a service amounting to up to 100 Gb/s.
The Lambda service is available in two configurations. The first of these is Lambda without protection – a single channel, without redundancy. The second is Lambda with protection - two channels with independent routing in the DWDM backbone network. In this case, the service includes protection at the level of optical channel, optical link and terminal devices.
