We have the second largest fiber-optic network in the country. Our transmission network is one of the most secure and “self-repair” networks in Poland. Netia was the first operator in the country to implement in its network a DWDM system using modern GMPLS-based mechanisms that allow for instant and automatic connection restoring in the event of a fiber-optic breakdown. An additional advantage of the new solution is the ability to encrypt physical customer connections (lambdas).
